Run-Off Experience :

From the time he first joined American Centennial Insurance Company in the fall of 1985 through his more recent experience at AIG and to date Peter has spent over 20 years handling and managing every phase of the run-off process. As in-house counsel, General Counsel, Run Off Manager, Chief Operating Officer and Senior Vice President, he has been responsible for the negotiation and resolution of billions of dollars in runoff collections, commutations and liabilities, the prosecution of high-profile, strategic arbitrations, litigations and mediations, and the management of dozens of professional insurance and runoff specialists, including accountants, actuaries, claims technicians, lawyers, systems specialists and underwriters. This experience, combined with his alternative dispute resolution skills, provide him with the unique ability to identify and assess the financial, legal, operational, political and strategic impact of every dispute and to suggest the most cost effective and efficient approach to its handling and resolution.
